Asher Entertainment is an entertainment production company based in Hollywood, California specializing in unique dance choreography, specialty acts, extreme productions, music videos, live shows and more. Chris Asher (CEO & Founder) was looking for a solution to combining both of his worlds in one: CHOREOGRAPHY and LIVE EVENTS.

We worked alongside Maxa Designs Agency to merge both of these worlds into one unique and powerful web solution that not only showcased all of Asher Entertainment’s capability as a production powerhouse but would also as a true visual hallmark for the brand.

The web presence needed to be striking: we started with a landing page split between the 2 worlds and then imagined both worlds separate but equal in value and stature. The webflow platform was chosen as it opened up the realm of possibility and provided limitless creativity.

LOGO

The Asher logo needed to have the essence of old Hollywood magic coupled with a sexy and modern-day appearance. We opted to place the majority of emphasis and focus on the word “ASHER” and allow “Entertainment” to play co-star, accenting the main word.

A custom typographic logo solution was chosen as it best fit the aesthetic for the brand. We then gave the letters our signature “deconstructionist edgy” treatment, paying special attention to spacial relationships and a symmetrical bookend finish. We completed the type treatment by giving the leg of the letter “R” an extension which sealed the deal in a slightly feminine way. We went with a simple and clean sans serif font choice for “Entertainment” with an inset feel to accent “ASHER”.

The Live Events portion of the website needed to have stand-alone
moments but also mimic the Choreography portion.
We made the distinction here with bigger, moody imagery, slick and
subtle animations and even more minimal verbiage.
